Significantly firmer structure and more muted than the 2018. Black fruit, raspberry, smoked meat, baking spice and mineral. The acid will require several years to calm. Probably made for a ten plus year haul given the vintage. Decant if you drink now.

La Tablee: Grenache Seminar (Al Coro): Blend of three different vineyards including Rayas (sand), Colombis (limestone) and Lyon (clay). 100% whole cluster with the big wooden barrels. This is a bit more alcoholic and that's the first piece I notice. Still very light bodied and it is something what the Grenache can do. Some darkness. A bit of woodsy. Playing in your backyard on a summer's day.

Elegant, fresh, refined and vibrant, the wine shows off its layers of silky textured kirsch, black raspberries, red cherries and floral notes from start to finish. As good as that is, it is the soft textured palate presence with its purity of fruit that steals the show. The wine was made from 100% old vine Grenache. Drink from 2023 - 2037

A very pretty wine. Classic in style, maybe ‘Burgundian’ like. Garrigue, cherry, rose water, nice clean finish.

Wine ranked #4 out of 12 for 2019 CdP Tasting.
Nose: bramble, blueberry, pie crust
Palate: great mouthfeel, chewy tannins, great structure compared to others but too many tannins right now
