Poured a beautiful golden color, almost honey. Aromas of baked red apple and marzipan leapt out of the glass while pouring. Tart and acidic right out of the gate, but it quickly calmed down giving way to apples and toasted almonds. A little primary at this stage, so will let it sit for 4-5 years before I try the next bottle. A good effort for Schramsberg, right down the fairway, albeit nothing spectacular at this point. However, in the current world where prices on actual champagne are shooting through the roof, this is an excellent substitute and QPR vis a vis its French counterparts.

Layered, plump raisins to raspberry, mint and fresh cut herbs. Juicy blackberry and new leather in a long finish. Small scale production by a born and raised Napa Valley entrepreneur.

A beautiful rose sparkling wine. Crisp and delicious. A crowd pleaser for any occasion. See previous note for descriptors. Drink or hold.

Rich and luscious without being too sweet. 88% pinot, and it tastes/feels like it.
