  • Dried cherry, ripe plum, mocha, autumn leaves, dried herbs and notes of black currant. Classic in style. Soft tannins with good amount of acidity. Enjoyable now with giving some air but should keep well

  • I didn’t know this wine; in short an Amarone from Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca) grapes from the steep Valtellina vineyards in the Alps. The grapes are dried from harvest until January before being processed.
Ruby red with a slight orange rim. Powerful wine with sweet spices, pipe tobacco, raisins, cherries, leather and a long cherry, earthy finish.
    High acidity, medium+ tannins
