Italian Wine Scholar Class @ The Texas Wine School. 100% Sangiovese. Med to med+ ruby. Med+ red cherry, black cherry, violets, thyme, sage, balsamic & sweet spice from 6 mos in a mix of French barriques and large casks. Developing. Dry but w/ a nice dollop of sweet fruit. Med+ acidity, med+, youthful tannins and high alcohol (14%). Med to med+ body, flavor intensity & length w/ a sweet & sour, balsamic finish. Very well balanced & nice with food or by itself. It exhibits a lot of finesse and is very much a Brunello-lite. Drinking well now and for the next several years. Great QPR.

Beatiful! Two years in the cellar after tasting at the vineyard in 2022. Paired great with our pappardelle bolognese. Drink now!
