Dinner at Kolabo: New-school Burgundy style of pretty red fruits and a noticeable amount of VA on the nose. Palate is juicy and easy-going, someone commented that this drank like a Bojo which was pretty much spot on. No excessive warmth from the vintage.

This has a nose of flowers and menthol, medium red, good sweetness that is overcome with tannins on the back of the palate, fruit flavours of dark fruit /sour cherries, good acidity. If you like the influence of oak drink this early. If not I believe in a couple of years this will balance out and become a much better wine. Although...The sweetness and fruit flavours does draw you into a desire to drink this wine early.

Stewed blueberry, stewed blackberry, cinnamon, brown sugar, stem. Cassis, hint of cedar, tomato, and cream, rounded with neutral oak, young, firm, dusty tannins and viscous mouthfeel. Leesy, especially for a Pinot noir which is a first. Dry, medium (+) body, high acidity, medium (-)/medium tannins, medium length, medium (-) complexity, decently balanced. A little viscous and vegetal for my taste.
