Very warm vintage Burgundy. Primary, dark and confected blue/red fruit. Too dense and viscous for my liking. Another 2019 to forget unfortunately, I should really stop opening these.

Pale bright red color, can easily see through the wine. Cherry, dry strawberries offset by slight smoky earthiness. Minerality is already evident from the nose. Light bodied, lovely mouthfeel, round and plush and never heavy on the palate. Low tannins, medium acid and sufficient concentration. Lovely business card wine to introduce you to Jean Marc Millot’s style.

The Jam with a capital J. Light in color; seductive nose; weightless on the palate and transparent to the terroir which shows slightly bitter minerals. Tastes to me like a Nuits-St-Georges and then I read these grapes are from Nuits-St-Georges…well that explains it. Take that for what it’s worth. A little effervescent out of the bottle, but blows off immediately. Sit on it or drink now. An instant favorite, for me.

Dark cerise. Humid, sappy nose of pungent mineralite, roses, baking spice. Open from the get go the palate is a graceful, feminine powerhouse of dark fruits, pomegranate and cherry, confection, dark, youthful exuberance, weightless and lithe.
