  This beauty has WOWed us! A recommendation from our friendly neighborhood Italian store wine rep... Yet already aged enough to crack immediately.
  
  Our 1st experience with this grape. It is light and candy colored, like a Pinot... Lite to medium body, with legs that hold up graciously.
  
  Not as rewarding as our best & favorite Italian grape, Schiopettino, but darn if this doesn't drink better that the Baby Gaja Promis. It's nearly as good as our beloved Bran Caia Ilatraias.
  
  There's subtlety here, no absurd punch in the face of fruit or sweet...
  
  It's got a rich sophistication to it, Italian smooooothness through & through. Slick, classy, feminine and lithe. Something red from Modena in the 90s...
  
  The swirl and the nose... It's not... fruit; not earth & terroir; something in between, something ancient, offering, welcoming... Historic.
  
  Ya know... It has that "made by a neighbor" vibe to it... BUT IN A GOOD WAY... Like you're in the village, the mud walls, the cows coming home at 1800, the pigs & chickens you'll be dining on in a few months, the well with water that appears to have 'stuff' in it, but you know your ancestors (or in laws) have gulped it for 500 years, so you're good with it...
  
  The breeze blowing over your Uncle's vines... Smells like the Adriatic at Pesaro... Bring us there, Raboso!!!
  
  We enjoyed it w an African Curry soup with naan and a perfect caprese salad... Wish you were here to join us!
  
  This is a CONVERSATION-WORTHY vin.
  
  If you can locate it, we've got Great News! We paid $16...
  
  More please!
  
  We've paid $60 and been less impressed...
  
  Back to Randazzo Market tomorrow to buy all the rest they've got. Hopefully they're all STILL there!
