  Overall: This is lively and lovely right now. It could benefit from another year or two of aging just to smooth out some rough edges. This is pretty classic Pierre Paillard Rose and I love it. This is always a winner and even though they make this "vintage" now, the style is consistent and consistently good.

  Great tension, saline, mineral and dense, opening up with a lovely hint of cherry fruit. Lovely serious rose. Purchased a case after tasting this.

  Terroir de Bouzy
  64% Chardonnay, 31% Pinot noir, 5% Bouzy rouge
  Dégorgement 04/2020
  Dosage 1,8 gr/l
  
  Robe très claire, juste tachée, bulle fine.
  Nez discret sur les agrumes, les fruits blancs, une légère touche briochée.
  
  C'est un vin tout en finesse et en tension dans lequel le Chardonnay domine, d’aucuns pourraient même trouver le vin trop vif. Bu en apéritif il s’est montré plaisant mais à eu du mal à passer après un rosé Les monts de la vallée d’Antoine Bouvet qui était beaucoup plus expressif et séducteur.
  Un vin a attendre quelque années je pense pour que l’aromatique se complexifie, même si à mon avis ça ne fera pas un champagne de gastronomie.
