  • Fresh acidity, nice complexity and body, well integrated. Can accompany a little more tasty food. We had smoked salmon wich matched perfect.

  • Really pleasant and first Portugese Wine I enjoyed so much. Made from Alvarinho which is a native Northwest Portugal (as well as Galicia in NW Spain) White wine grape.

Lovely crispness, dry too. Granit as described on the label, refers to granite and minerals. The mineality and acids in this Soalheiro creation lends itself to being a wonderful food pairing wine.

Perfect pairing with prawns and other Chinese dishes, great evening welcoming CH and SS, joined by TC, AK, ET and Jack bro too in Overseas Imbi.

Really good value, at about USD 30. Very ready to drink, just PoP Pop and Pour.

There's even tropical fruit notes such as pineapple and peach, intertwined with the lemon and citrus nose. Loved the juicy acidity!

  • Purchased for ~$17. It's a hot 95F day, so a chilled Vinho Verde is just what the doctor ordered. Medium golden straw in color. With a name like Granite, I was expecting tons of slatey minerality. But there's some delicious fresh tropical fruit here. Peach, pineapple, papaya. Hints of juicy green apple and lemon. And yes, there's some nice slate and mineral notes. Really juicy acidity makes your mouth water for more . This was perfect for the day. Grade: A-
