Very good --- flavor profile was "as expected" for this vineyard and producer. On the larger side for Spatlese, and a bit fat, but overall quite enjoyable.

A heavenly wine for those who like it sweet. Fragile nose of sweet limes. Mouth is fresh, combining a clearly present yet subtle sweetness with a jolly acidity. Candied apple or pineapple. A great wine with dessert, either salty or sweet. At 7.5% alcohol, a great, light wine.

Light yellow straw; almost a bitter citrus, gentian, reeks of slate, lifted peach, weight on the nose; palate not quite as heavy but has impressive persistence This opens nicely with air going from pithy sour yellow fruit to a glazed orange and green fruit character. Acids relent and the slate driven peach and hedonism shows up. Why is this wine so delicious now?

Online Vintage Presentation: Based on 0,1l bottles filled about 1 week before the tasting. Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color. Off-dry, high, ripe, perfectly integrated acidity. 7,5% abv. Juicy, deep, wonderful mineral core. Deeper and more substantial as the Kabinett, but equally airy and featherlight. Beautiful combination of fruit, mineral core and herbs. Long and lingering finish! What a beauty! 91-92+
