    Based on 0,1l bottles filled about 1 week before the tasting.
    1,7ha Abtsberg, planted 2007, blue devon slate.20 month in barrique, 9th vintage. Clear, deep purple, ruby color. Clean, youthful, medium intense nose. Warm, red fruit, a bit cooked, herbaceous.
    Dry, medium+ acidity, 15,5% high acidity, silky, medium tannin. Warm, ripe and a bit cooked fruit, herbaceous, oak good integrated. Solid tannin structure, good texture. Good balance and grip, round and harmonious. Big and bold. Long finish, warm red fruit, a bit hot.
    Potential for 5+ years. 90-91+

    From Herrenberg, about 1ha, only own fruit, spontaneous fermentation.
    Clear, pale youthful color. Dry, some residual sugar, medium acidity, 12,5%. Way deeper, mineral and focused than the entry level Maximin. Pressure, depth, nice, ripe fruit, a bit sweet on the palate. Elegance and balance. Long, fruity and spicy finish. Really beautiful. 88-89+

    Previously named Monopol. Estate Riesling.
    Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color. Clean, medium intense, youthful nose: Yeasts, some solphur, some mineral notes.
    Dry, medium+ acidity, 11,5% abv. A bit lean, meagre. Fine, delicate fruit, good, chalky mineral core, spicy and herbaceous. Clear, clean, precise. Good balance, juicy and joyful to drink. Nice, medium finish. Drink now – 3-5+ years. 85-86. Very good PQR.

    Dry, high acidiy, 11,5% abv. Classic Grünhaus flavors and spicyness. Herbaceous, tension, wonderful mineral core. Quite complex and deep. A step up from the Schloss Riesling. Beautiful entry in the serious Grünhaus world! 88+

    Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color. Clean, medium intense, yeasty, some sulphur, needs air and time.
    Off-dry, medium+ acidity, 11,5% abv. A clear step-up from the Maximin feinherb. Tension, Grünhaus spices and herbs, beautiful balance, wonderful mineral core. Quite complex, multi-layered and long. Very joyful to drink, Long, fine and fruity, spicy finish. 87-89+

    Devon slate with some iron.
    Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color. Clear, medium intense, youthful nose, deep, dark, yeasty, sulphur, wild.
    Off-dry, high acidity, 7,5% abv, deep, complex, wild. Tension, grip, juicy, extract, some zesty bitter notes. A bit rougher compared to his brothers, but I really like it. Classic Grünhaus Kabi at its best. Delicious! 90-91+

    Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color.
    Off-dry, 7,5% abv, a bit less acidity, very ripe. Roundest wine of the three Kabinets, more yellow fruit. Juicy, wonderful balance, salty mineral core. Makes a lot of fun already. Long, juicy finish! Delicious! 90-91+

    Clear, medium intense, youthful nose, spontaneous fermentation.
    Off-dry, high-acidity, 7,5% abv, rounder and more balanced than the Brudersberg. Pure, yellow fruit, juicy and delicious. Very elegant and balanced, a bit darker than the Abtsberg. Delicious! 90-91+

    Clear, pale, youthful lemon golden color.
    Off-dry, high, ripe, perfectly integrated acidity. 7,5% abv. Juicy, deep, wonderful mineral core. Deeper and more substantial as the Kabinett, but equally airy and featherlight. Beautiful combination of fruit, mineral core and herbs. Long and lingering finish! What a beauty! 91-92+
