  • Upon first opening, it had a very nice flinty chablis nose and had that same taste at the front of the mouth. But at the back end, the wine tasted like it was just ready to turn - seemingly just a bit oxodized. But after recorking about half the bottle until the next evening, it really opened up. There was no hint of the first night's oxidation, although the wine is not terrific, just a very nice chablis to drink in the evening with some slightly spicy Oriental food. I'm glad I bought the wine, glad I cellared it for a significant amount of time and glad I now know that I should give it some time after opening.
