  So it's been a few years since my last bottle. Still firing but definitely on its decline.
  
  Drink cellar cool. No need for carafe or decant. Pop and pour.
  
  Fades quickly and the fruit is gone. Drink up now. Still great, but not a lot of time left. T-bone, ravioli and asparagus for dinner. Very nice!

  The wine has clearly improved and opened up since my last bottle in 2016 and showing a nice body. The fruit is mature - dark cherries and cranberries also ripe plums - we got a lot of menthol also on the nose - and clearly also cedar tree - we are also getting a stable tone. Today acidity is more dominating than tannins. - the wine still has a very good balance and a long aftertaste. We are clearly increasing our rating - after a discussion we are ending on a large 93 - the wine will still develop further.

  Dark, inky-black, ox-blood rim, full bodied.
  Red fruit, cigar box, tea, and some meaty characteristics coupled with some red fruit.
  Thick, viscous, high ABV, chewy. Loads of dark fruit on the palate. Mostly follows the nose. Longish finish.
  WOW! This wine is good! Poured, decanted, and consumed over 12 hours. So very happy with this bottle.
