In mouth fresh, delicious taste. Fresh acidity, rich and fine. Not very complex, kind of simple taste. Has some of the wax / bee-wax which I also remember from a tasting of Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin 96 about half year ago. Nice wine. But dies slightly away in the glass.
50 + 5 + 11 + 14 + 7 = 87p.
Other wines in this flight, all tasted blind: R. Groffier Chambolle Musigny Les Amouresses 97 (94p) Rene Engel Echezeaux 00 (97p) Mugnier Musigny 05 (92p)

Tasted blind. Warm red color. The nose on this one is nice and balanced, though perhaps a bit green. Warm, fruity pinot-scent. The palate is a bit like the nose. Green and twiggy, a bit angular, but still has freshness and good fruit. Not a bad wine, but slightly unbalanced.

Smells pretty. It's very agreeable for those who like their Burgundy evolved (it is and I do), but in truth the fading of the fruit leaves it quite thin. g-

This has come around to a good place. Still tart cherries with herbal bitter notes and now earthier notes backing it up. Light body, a bit softer on the edges than I like. Medium finish. Nice with dinner.

Consistent w/ before, though I am enjoying it a bit less and/or my grading is getting tougher. Still a very good food wine. Most of the case taken to my parent's, dinners, gifted.

Aromas of wax, some flowers and herbs (timian?).
