  Good purity of blackcurrant and plums, sweet spices, cedar and graphite. Palate is touch of tobacco, wood smoke and old leather. Medium-bodied structure which is fresh and defined. Nice transition from a bold entry to a deep finish. Ready to drink with some decanting. Aging this for another 3 years would be better. 92-93 pts.

  Pretty good right off the bat. Lots of berry fruit, some dried herbs, maybe a little leather showing. Medium to heavy weight. It comes off a little rustic in the beginning, but I think it will show some refinement and class as it opens up.
