  • Not the great. This had a pleasant enough nose - very clean, with red cherries, earth and meat, alongside just a touch of herb and bramble. Quite classic Gevrey. It was light on the palate though, showing red-fruited cherries seasoned with little spice, and then some of that savoury meat and spice picked up on the nose. There was a touch more strength towards the finish, where a touch of bramble set in alongside firmish tannins and decent acidity. All in all though, not a very interesting wine.
