Great QPR and a great pairing with a flannery steak. Didn't take much in way of notes, but clearly this was a wine with dark fruits and the right level of oak treatment. wish i had more as a daily drinker for the winter. Drinking great now.
Texture was very smooth, with a medium to long finish.

Solid, but not spectacular to me; prefer the earlier vintage I had. Decent for the price. D really liked this on first opening; I preferred it as it opened up 2 hours later.

Deep garnet color. Viscous grip on the glass. The nose has blackberries, currant, dark cherry pie and boysenberry. The mouthfeel belies the fact that this is a $23 Cab. There is real structure and allure not normally found at this price point. Sweet tannins and a quiet but ever present acid level carries this forward. The finish seems a bit clipped. This reminds me of Ed Sbragias offerings of late save for the Beringer Reserve. There are some grape pips floating about? Strange, but the only destraction I can find. Could us a year in the bottle but drinks quite nicely now. Great NAPA QPR alert!

Good balance and pure easy ab style will make this a crowd pleaser, even for the uninitiated cab drinkers. Good QPR. 89+
