Day 1: Wonderful offering featuring lemon zest, dust, minerals, orange peel and spice. Picks up some nice floral notes on the finish. Paso does Rhone varietals the best for sure. 91 points Day 2: Holding form perfectly. Minerals, dust, lemon, orange peel, spices, sour apple and floral notes. For sure a super effort from Ridge. 91 points Recommendation: Easy purchase and drink now to 2028.

Loads of fruit, with notes of ripe Honeydew melon, lemon, and yellow apple leading the way. Loads of oak too, but it's well integrated and doesn't overwhelm. A flutter of acidity puts up some resistance, but it's still a hedonist.

I agree with other notes that the nose is slightly uninteresting, but shows some lemon initially and even some vanilla on day 2. I think this requires a food pairing for maximum enjoyment. We had this with a spicy Asian dish and it was a lovely compliment. Just enough sweetness to break through the spice and enough acidity to hold itself up. I'll definitely try some other options before coming back to this, but I wouldn't call it disappointing.

Still big and round but somehow more fitting this time out. More resolved.

Better on day n after time in the refrigerator. Softer, bit of butter and less astringent
