  The Wurzgarten is one of my favorite vineyards at the Mosel, and this bottle didn't disappoint in that regard.
  
  Lovely freshness and acidity with green apple, pear, citrus fruits and greengage with sweetness coming from tropical fruits. There's a hint of mint in there and then the magical touch of herbs that I love.

  I've now spent more time with this wine, and I think my earlier note underestimated it. There's more acidity than I initially realized, and the long and intense aftertaste does seem to promise interesting developments. I've only added a point to the score for now, but with a few years of cellaring this could possibly (not at all definitely) deserve a significantly higher score.

I don't want to suggest that this isn't perfectly pleasant right now--it is. But at this very early stage, there's not much complexity (in spite of how my description sounds!) and there doesn't seem to be enough acidity to support the (modest) level of sweetness. Still, on the other hand, the length of the aftertaste is promising. If you have this in your cellar and you have plenty of space, it would probably be worth waiting a few years in the hope that this wine will come together--but if space is short, be aware that this could end up being a disappointment.
