  Dinner at Hermosa (Chicago, IL): Intense minerality on full display here, with only subtle fruit notes on the nose. The palate shows an interesting dichotomy between the relatively ripe profile of the fruit, but the lighter, high-acid (and slightly thin) textures. Not the most balanced as the acid seems to jut out a little on the finish, but a very fine bottle of old-school riesling nonetheless. This is a really rustic wine.
