  Intensely aromatic. Blueberry cake and forest flowers with hints of rose. Slight oak notes.
  
  Light drinking, fine tannins. Medium finish. Enough acidity to accommodate food.
  
  Drinking astonishingly well right now. I wish I had more.

  It has tannins and stuffing to carry it some more years. I wouldn’t bet on 2025, as the community average says, but at least 6-7 y more.

  Bought from Ultimo wine center. Thank goodness this was in good condition. Last bottle from ultimo wine center colle masarri Montecucco rigoleto 2005 was very badly corked. Decanted for 2 hours. Dark ruby colour with purple rim. Smells gorgeous, Plum cake, blueberries, earth, creamy oak, unmistakely from douro on the palate, medium to full bodied, Beautiful mouth feel and well balanced leads to velvety dry finish. I don't think fruit will hold againtst aging. Drink this within 2 to 3 years.

  Deep-hued dark garnet towards purple. Spice, blackberry on the nose (nice). Not a lot of fruit (black current), very earthy (not a criticism), not quite up to what the aroma seems to promise. Tannic in the middle but not the back. Short to medium finish. Tastes like a young wine, not quite ready.
