Søt og mørk med passe fast ettersmak. 3 timer i karaffel: Deilig til ande confit klubber (som ikke var så godt i seg selv) Veldig flott frukt (500kr Bx) litt mint som kler timian i "klubbene" 2 dager i flaske: Mørk og litt grønne element, litt tung og ungdommelig.

I am generally a fan of Douro table wine, though I was a bit disappointed with this one. The wine has a deep colour, typical of the area and the grapes used. The flavours of dark berries are evident has hints of pepper with a decent finish.

Oeil : rubis soutenu à reflets bleutés, forte viscosité en parois, larmes légèrement colorées
Nez : projection d'intensité moyenne+, très frais, invitant, terreux, cassis, bleuets, notes séveuses/végétales, léger minéral, boisé léger, intéressant
Bouche : sec, ample, attaque franche et presque soyeuse, acidité rafraîchissante, tanins charnus à souples, astringence moyenne, amertume contenue, rétro sur les bleuets frais, le cassis, terreux, minéral, séveux, longueur moyenne+
Conclusion : très beau produit, bel équilibre, fruité élégant, frais, belle matiere tout en demeurant très digeste, belle présence sans trop, petit support végétal juste assez. Prêt à boire et jusqu'en 2012. 88+

very pleasant and balanced, but a bit too much Alcohol (14%Vol) for my taste. the 2006 is ready to drink. QdlR has spent significant $ for marketing and I appreciate the consistency of quality. However, at my last visit at the Estate they were so busy serving another client that after 30 min waiting I decided to move on, without having been offered to taste or to buy.
