Slight spritz and maybe a tiny hint of pink. Ultra-clean and fresh – just so refreshing. A real crowd-pleaser: there’s a zing but it’s far from lean (reflecting the warmth of the site). Loads of fruit, and pear drops, then a big kick of phenolic bitterness on the finish – like a fine-boned Condrieu. You can tell this not particularly grand wine is extremely well-made.
