Black pepper, blueberry, cherry, not very complex at the moment. Juicy, high acidity, alcohol very well integrated. gets more body with 1h in the glas. Needs way more time 91+ Edit: Much better on day 2

Crikey. Explosive, vibrant nose of blue fruit, cherry, incense, black cardamom. Very aromatic. Extremely young on the palate- tannin overload- but there's dark sour fruit, lots of acidity, drying on the back end. Wouldn't even consider this for another 5 years.
It's not a pleasant experience now and questions what a Barbera d'Alba is supposed to be - it's more serious and structured, and lacks the generosity one may expect. Burlotto's Aves does 'proper wine' and enjoyment at the same time - at the moment this is just doing the former. Will be fascinating to see how it develops

Best Barbera I have tasted. Complex and tasty. Spicy and little acidity brings balance.
Love this.

Floral med lidt noter fra bordeaux. Blæk og blyant i smagen

Beautiful purity of fruit, carried by good acidity, it is simple and delicious at the same time, a true wine for friends.
