  2nd Annual Sommelier Appreciation Dinner (Undisclosed Location): Highlight of the Leroy flight. Dense and packed, you can practically feel those famous Leroy low yields. Glossy fruit but as much savory as sweet, nicely developed and another '96 that's in the zone.

  Sommelier Appreciation Dinner 2019 (The Brown Residence): Medium expressive detailed nose displaying lean cool red fruit, cherry and strawberry, sap, pronounced cedar and mineral. Fully integrated palate, finely layered subtle red fruit, silky and polished, bright acidity, strong mineral and a long subtle red fruit driven finish with cedar and sap at the end. Clearly expressing the structure and precision of the 96 vintage.

  Pretty like last time, still amazing leroy floral nose, drinking well but youthful, great balance for a 96 rouge.

  Leroy dinner - l'imperatrice (Tin Lung Heen, Ritz Carlton): lots of red fruits, elegant and fully mature. somewhat simplistic. easy to drink.
