  • Decanted and poured. This wine gave an excellent showing. It contains a mix of youthful and maturing notes on the bouquet and finish. This lacks the fireworks to give an outstanding but there is sufficient detail and nuance to make this an excellent wine. This does not give the impression that it will benefit from additional bottle age but it does contain enough youthful element to drink well over the next few years (for bottles that have been properly stored). Purchased on release and Imported by Kermit Lynch.

  • Ripe and rich yellow exotic fruit, honey, rather salty than iodine elements, has not the cut of better vintages, but very well made. Not for longer cellaring, drink it up.

  • Light gold color. With air the nose gives up scents of flint, lemon peel, white floral notes, and a bit of apple core. Incisive layers of chiseled white stone, chalky pear, pulpy granny apple, grapefruit, and a satisfying hit of tartness on the palate. Mouth-watering acidity and tense, rocky grip. Long, firm finish of apple, brisk quenching citrus elements, and stone. Excellent.

  • Oxidative, round, medium acid. Bass notes of earthy yellow apple, hint of something tropical and mild amount spice. Very nice.
