Much more expressive compared to the Sechet. Big, salty bouquet, lychee fruit, lemon juice, baked bread. Wide, salty yellow fruits, orchard fruit, lemon juice, wet stone. There’s richness and complexity here, wool and cheese notes. Very impressive showing for a 2006. Chablis tasting with CG/Hasse/Finn.

[Magnum] Clean bottle, great example. Surprising richness and weight here. Citrus and mild tropical fruit, some saline, clean. Grew considerably with air. Plenty of mineral, maybe a slight metallic component at the beginning but which dropped out. Good, if not terribly complex. 92+ 93? I get the feeling the magnum format helped this showing a great deal, very fresh.

After some bad experiences with oxidized 2008 Dauvissat wines, this one is without any problem: ripe citrus fruit, sea shells, and a nice salinity. Pretty dense, middle tension and length (2006).

Needs some air that the butter notes are getting reduced. Then the wine gets more focused, with seashell and citrus aromas, there is also ripe apple. Drinking well, but too ripe for me with missing tension, not reaching the level of good Chablis vintages.

Fill at cork. Smells wonderful, classic Chablis, no sign of vintage, mineral, ethereal. Really light and short, however. 90
