Not nearly as good as the bottle drank on 12/20/10 or on 9/11/09 (last notes). The acid is almost all but gone and the lemon flavors are overripe. This wine still drinkable but if you have any drink up now!

Carmel, cedar dust and lemon on the nose. The palate delivers a lot of wood, carmel and orange peel. This wine was probably a victim of the classic vertical storage that so many wine shops are known for. This is not even close to as good as previous bottles and while White Burgs don't last forever I can't imagine such a decline.

(Louis Jadot Chassagne Montrachet) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-golden; NOSE-the Oak Monster is in the house; real nice apple core; some pear; egg nog w/ nutmeg; very woody; TASTE-solid on the upfront attack, but falls apart; a little hot on the finish; apple core; oaky buttery component; the heat on the finish hurts it; may do better w/ a few years in the bottle; GV-87

Ripe apple, apricot, sandalwood, spice. Perfect amount of fruit matched to wood and spice. Very lovely wine, wish I had more.

This wine was oxidized pretty badly. A shame as a year earlier it was drinking really well.
