  • Very nice overall! Nose shows a mixture of an intense minerality and sulfur, plus some classic Pinot berries. The palate is very well balanced, with good acidity but also a certain generosity. Good length. Drinks well now, but can certainly be kept much longer. A very interesting wine!

  • This owner apparently wirked for Jacques Tatasciore who probably makes Switzerland’s best Pinot. This wine here is seriously good. Lots of Vosne spice, reminding me of Grivot’s 2007 Beauxmonts whixh I had the other day. Soft and succulent, very fragrant, ploshed mouthfeel. 94+

  • Decanted for 2 hours. Very aromatic, seductive and pretty, with notes of sweet black cherries, dark plum, sweet spices of cinnamon, vanilla, christmas spices, there is also a dark mineral note here, as well as some smoke, tobacco, animalic notes and a touch of dark chocolate and espresso. Medium-full bodied, this seems a little riper than the 2016 I had just a few weekds ago, with medium+ acidity and some medium+ tannin that will still need a moment to integrate. There is a touch of warmth too, but not disturbing. Good length. A very pretty Pinot Noir from this excellent producer. Ideally, I would give this another 2-3 years in bottle to integrate some more, but it‘s already hard to resist. (92-94)
