Right in the zone. Generous but contained. Beautiful white peach fruit. A hint of spice and some mineral reduction. Great shape and a long and sappy finish.

Floral start may be a bit too oaky for right now. Rich and powerful Pouilly, this has a Meursault nuttiness that thrilled me with some bitter almond notes that will soften with time. I may be underestimating this wine's 2026+ potential.

Bright yellow color, nose offers salted, ripe lemon, almonds, orange rind. Mouthfeel is dense, oily, medium to full bodied with a grippy texture and orange peel bitter notes. Finishes sweetly wirh vanilla intermixed with the slight bitter notes. Quite interesting to follow. Will benefit from 2+ years marurity.

Dig Wine Leflaive Tasting (Dig Wines, San Francisco.): Quite different from the Macon-Verzé wines, with some buttery notes on the nose and and almost Meursault-like nutty note on the palate. Still didn’t have quite the charm of the other wines.

Entry Level Domaine Leflaive Tasting (Chicago Wine - Glenview IL): Walk around tasting. Bright while dense and chewy. Less composed vs the Mâcon-Verzé les Chênes 2020 tasted earlier, but bigger and more cellarworthy.
