  • DOCG. Light body. medium+ tannin. Mild nose. Earthy, dried dark fruit. Nice but not enough there. Paid 73- would not pay this again.

  • tasted @Vancouver International Wine Festival 2023: Not a great example of Brunello, typical light in color, but also light in body with a watery and juicy texture, very low tannin levels for Brunello, no structure here, just plain juicy fruit of wild forest strawberries. Don't get me wrong, it is an enjoyable wine, but just nowhere near the great wines of the Brunello region. Drink now, not a vintage for long ageing. I seem to agree with Kerin O'Keefe on this one. - 88 points
