(Quinta do Crasto Late Bottled Vintage Port) Unfiltered; bottled 2008. Dark, inky garnet in color and fully opaque, this is a massive young LBV that would pass for Vintage Port in a blind tasting. Accented by aromas of spicy blackcurrant and blueberry, it took a couple of days to show at its best, with abundant dark-cherry and raspberry flavors in an off-dry, full-bodied yet soft-textured profile. The powerful structure is supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins; the finish has a hot streak that was less obtrusive a couple of days later. Enjoy over the next eight to 12 years. Dark ruby red in color. Cherry cough syrup. Drank over 30 days. Definitely became more cherry like over time. Nice, but there are better out there

Til selskap og den nye Browneeen til kånå. Forsmak på kjøkkenet. Saftig, mørk og god med litt alkoholstikk, blåbær. Fantastisk match til sjokoladekaka. :-D 10 dager i lita flaske uten luft. Vanilje, sur oppvaskklut, spennende plomme lukt og litt alkohol. Godt balanser vanilje og plomme smak. :-) 200 NOK
