Entry level - but by no means entry quality. Superb balance. Lots of fruit and very fresh. medium bodied and very elegant balance between fruit and alcohol. Have tasted the producers Batard Montrachet at 15 times this price - which was very good - but this is a real bargain. Wonderful wine.

Rich CM profile without the tension needed for a higher rating. Ripe pear, yellow stone fruits, little oak influence but noticeable cinnamon and honeycomb, ripeness again. It’s developing quickly, as expected, lovely drink but soon to become too soft for most foods so drink up now and enjoy the sunshine 17.25.

Borderline intoxicating nose: lemon, spearmint, hazelnut, crushed rock, smoky (slightly popcorny) reduction and a hint of buttery oak. On the palate on the firmer side with good volume, appropriate acidity, a nice kiss of oak and admirable intensity on the finish. Not massive fruit but the oak is well judged as it does not dominate. Clearly a product of its place and really harmonious and unforced. Could have more depth but overall very high quality, a great style and overperforms for the price.

Basis wine from the estate - but good value. Not to be drunk cold - at leats 12 degrees which will get all the flavors out. Just a very good all rounder.
