Coonawarra Roadshow (Town Hall, Sydney): Sweet spice, black fruits, savoury, blackcurrant over mint on the nose. Juicy, tangy, slight alcohol warmth, blackcurrant, chalky textured tannic grip, slightly too concentrated for me at this tasting.

CellarDoor TWE Tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Ripe cabernet nose – baked but not jammy blackcurrant. Surprisingly slightly sour on the palate with chalky textured, tight tannins. Not so good.
