This wine is in a great spot right now. Everything in place and quintessential Meursault. Maybe a bit more creaminess than normal, might be the sunny vintage but the acidity makes it a perfect drinkable wine right now. Not sure if this is going to get better in the upcoming years. nevertheless no hurry in drinking them.

Opened at cellar temp and threw in a decanter 20 min before serving. Drinking beautifully/ elegant slight smell of oilyness, rich finish. Paired with sea scallop. Think this is perfect right now- may start to decline or lose its finish holding on to further

A pale straw yellow color. Quiet youthful in appearance. This bottle is drinking exceedingly well. Nose at first was a bit reserved with a match stick, smoke component combined white flowers, and orchard fruit. as it has opened and warmed up a bit it has brightened and I get more exotic notes coming through. Ripe apple, lychee, banana?. And buttery notes. On the palate, great energy with ripe green apple and citrus (lime) flavors. Stoney minerality and with a core of lifting acidity that gives good tension throughout the rather concentrated mid palate. A long and honeyed citrus finish. Overall this is very impressive and, while this has the stuffing for a long life, it is in such a great place right now. Wish I had more.

mputh - sour lovely fruit complements an otherwise big bodied white.
