Proud to be able to share my first ever bottle from this fabled Château with my buddies.. this is Château Margaux's 3rd wine and in 2015, was the result of a very rigorous selection.
Nose had lovely appellation signatures with floral and red fruit bouquet gradually opening up.
Palate was slightly more ubiquitous with blackberries and vanilla.
Finish slightly dissapointing with it being short, but one that should be expected for a non Grand Vin, not even a 2nd in fact. Has potential to age perhaps 5 more years.

Taste of Autumn at Helene Darroze (Helene Darroze): Did exactly what was required of it, being textbook Claret. Plenty of graphite, a touch of smoke, lots of dark fruit and a pleasing elegance despite the concentration. I'm sure there are dozens of better value Bordeau wines, but I did enjoy this.

This was fine.
It’s tasty, but not deserving of the price point.
Red fruit and some floral on the nose.
Flavor is mostly blue fruit and oak. Some red fruit.
Overall not very impressed.

Dark fruit, florals, and oaky on the nose, similar on the palate. Quite lean in profile but balanced, smooth with modest but enjoyable finish.
