Black cherries, licorice, flowers, and tobacco leaf are found in the nose and on the medium-bodied, lifted, fresh, bright, red berry palate. This charming Pauillac is ready to go on release, so you can dig into all the sweet, fresh, juicy, spicy currants as soon as the wine hits the store. Drink from 2024-2036.

(90-92 vvPunkte) Reben aus 1989. CS, SF, Merlot. 66% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. Offene Nase, dunkle Kirschfrucht, auch Pflaumen, dezente Röstnoten. Der Auftakt ist cremig und weich, der Wein hat Schmelz, eine gewisse, Fülle und eine knackige Frucht, dieser weiche Auftakt, wir im Mittleren Gaumen von feinkörnigen Tanninen und einer rassigen säure durchbrochen. Im Abgang angenehm lang und mit schöner Würzigkeit. Ein charmanter, knackiger Tourelles der früh Spass machen wird. 2025-2038 (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2022. Château Pichon Baron)

Wet earth, cedar, tobacco leaf, cedar and red currants are found in the nose and on the medium-bodied, round, chalky, forward, sweet, fresh, red berry filled palate. The wine is a blend of 66% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2024-2036. 89-91
