This has an entrancing nose of cedar, cut aspen, fresh tilled soil, hints of barnyard and rhubarb, minerals, and something else I can't quite reach. Full bodied, luscious fruit that still has many years left. Mature strawberries and minerals on the front end. Complex mid palate with deep saddle leather. Then it switches gears and tannins and earthy flavors land into a long finish. Fantastic QPR ($55).

Absolutely gorgeous wine! Incredibly rich and smooth. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fully mature, but will hold for years to come. I wish I had more of this. Earlier in the week we had several 1990 Bordeaux from Les Forts de Latour, Leoville Barton and Pichon Baron. This was better than the Fort de Latour and the Pichon Baron.

Consistent with previous note. Complex and has aged wonderfully. Still going strong.

Restrained Super Tuscan. A fine bottle with great fruit and acidity balance and a long savory finish. Fragrant nose of mild red fruit, some herb.
