  Cork exploded during extraction and the bottom piece plus dust fell into my the wine. There was a nasty, mouldy stink from the cirk. Black mould had formed, not only on top of the cork, but also on the side of the cork. No leakage, nevertheless scary!
  
  Lightly yellowing, not looking like a 24 year old dry white wine.
  
  Nose is minerally driven with supple fruit and surprisingly anonymous.
  
  In the mouth, there is first of all intensity, a mineral motherload and a little short finish. There is maturity here in the shape and form of superbly integrated "everything". It's not just rounded, it's a perfect sphere without any suggestions whatsoever that this is over 5 years of age.
  
  An amazing bottle!
  
  Gawd I hate corks!
