Wine made with some natural wine techniques, including carbonic maceration, minimal sulfuring, biodynamic viticulture, ambient yeast, etc — but the wine doesn’t show any overtly “natty” characteristics and is quite nice.
The profile developed slowly over the course of several hours. Nose shows classic Fleurie violets and crushed rock, green pepper, stemmy olive notes and a backdrop of sour cranberry.
The palate is where the wine shows quality with impeccable balance between its components; light but sinewy tannin plays off the moderate acidity to create a harmonious finish. Just the faintest fizz/petillance in there as well.

A bottle I never would have chosen as I am not a Gamay/Beaujolais fan in general. But I have to admit, this was very pleasant. Pnp. Light/med translucent red in color. Bright red fruits on the nose, red fruit, pepper and spice on the palate. A little bit of carbonic zing to it. Went very well with veggie pizza. And the low alcohol is an extra bonus.

Ganska mosig men öppnar upp sig och blir aningen skarpare efter en stund. Ganska trist i slutet.
