Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Borderline flawed; not in very good shape. Very cloudy, LOTS of sediment; needed to be stood up for a few weeks, maybe more, I think. That said, upon open it was screaming TCA - but it also had a lot of those less than desirable aromas that go along with 45+ years in the bottle, too. By the second day, the TCA had mostly dissipated (kind of the reverse of TCA, but whatever), and a woods meets savory thing, with generous doses of old wood and oxidation became dominant.
