Boxing day at NY Verden: Didn't enjoy this, guessed Tuscan with a Cabernet Franc. A weird showing where the fruit is a dull and plummy, but yet a little green. Tannins have dried out.

Not ready yet. Needs 7-10 more years to fully develop. Opened 24 hrs prior and then decanted 2hrs before drinking. Still very closed, muted berry flavors, not much nose. Medium finish. I think it might be in-between primary and secondary flavors now. Will wait a long while before opening another.

Similar notes as last time, but I must admit that the wine is MUCH closer to resolve at this point, giving off the clarity I expected to see in 5 years, only 14 months later. I also found a LOT more fresh violets and vanilla on the nose this time around, but still a very underrated barolo.

Still drinking well after one hour + of air (no need to decant). Classic barolo, medium body, great balance

Robert Parker Piedmont MasterClass (Singapore): Minty, flora clean with panda like finish. Very classic Barolo with silly tannins.
