This rich and layered Pinot is drinking well right now, with more fruit than nuance - but it is still quite tasty. Light red in color; medium in body; nose of black cherry, dried strawberry, and menthol. Flavors of raspberry, cranberry, anise, and rhubarb, with a sweet and elegant finish. 14.5% alcohol. My guess is that this is nearing the end of its drinking window, since it lacks some precision. 93+ at the moment. Drink soon.

Anybody who tasted this baby before now missed the boat. I opened a couple nights ago, and it showed nothing right after opening. Two hours later, it started to blossom. Vacu-vined it, and now two night later, its a WOW wine. Tanzers note says Musigny like, well, thats where it is tonight. Everything in balance, finish ridiculously long, fruit still very primary. What a Wow wine and a surprise! Absolutely coats your tongue and mouth.

DOUBLE BLIND 95+ DINNER @ DEERING BAY YACHT & COUNTRY CLUB (WINE CELLAR @ DEERING BAY YACHt & COUNTRY CLUB, MIAMI, FL): The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Raspberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Forest floor, Verbena, and Lavender. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Polished texture. The wine finishes Long. Everyone IDed it as Cali Pinot, but not necessarily Sonoma. I bought 1@ of the first vintage(2006) of their wines, given Luc's background at Peter Michael. I believe the wines are overpriced, and can't hold a candle to Kosta Browne, Marcassin, Martinelli, Hilliard-Bruce, Talley, etc. Mark's wine(me).

Outstanding! Full bodied, rich, complex. Some floral, dark cherry, herbs, forest floor. Wish I had more...it's in the perfect place now.

Very nice bottle, but this one did not sing like the previous comment mentioned... wish it did.
