Young bottle, yet cork and neck were caked with mica sediment. Dark and vivid magenta body. Big, intense nose of cranberry raisin, smoke, lavender, fennel seed. Palate is juicy red and black fruits and deep with more fennel seed, white pepper, violets, unripe apricots, slate (bordering asphalt when first opened). Enjoyed from beginning but it is better with air time, including day 2 when it is quite polished. The finish is very long and has some bitter, grassy notes and alcohol.
Our first Tenyson. Fun to drink young on a beautiful, crisp sunny day. Something about the wine is jubilant and spring like, lots of floral qualities. But it drinks like a full-bodied wine, beware the alcohol.

A bit savory with figs and black fruit. Smooth, with black olive notes on the finish. Acidity and tannins were balanced and pronounced enough to hold up to creamy cheeses and cured meats.

Young, sappy, meaty, high acidity, white and purple floral accents, and an astringent vein of tannin through the finish. Needs 8-12 months but quite promising.

Abundant dark stone fruit, spicy, full bodied. Nice finish. Great wine for a slab of ribs.
