Decent rose Sekt from Blauburgunder/Zweigelt/St. Laurent, red fruits, rather low acidity. Ok, however keep in mind that at this price point one may get an entry level champagne as well

Disgorged June 2022. I couldn't agree more with Mark's description from 2/24/23: "red fruit and berry on the nose, some freshly whipped cream, fresh and phenolic, light herbaceous and with some bread crust. Very dry on the palate, with a fairly dark, mineral feel, very fine tannins. Rather subtle in acidity, but still very fresh and juicy. Very nice, full of soft foam, minimally coarse-grained perlage. Very good length goes on and has traction. Very nice aperitif sparkling wine."

(NV Willi Bründlmayer Brut Rosé) ($44.00) Based on ’08, as always PN-Zweigelt and St-L — boy is this pretty!Silky, careful, exquisite fruit.A stylish and delicious rosé.
(NV Willi Bründlmayer Brut Rose) ($43.00) Odd what people tell you. Last year this was “all 2008” and this year it’s “mostly ’07 with some ’08,” and I’m either mistaken or confused. In any case it’s still one-third each of Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and St. Laurent, and it has a coral salmon-y color, even salmon-caviar; lots of round fruit this time – the Pinot shows most – groseille aromas lead to a palate like orange cherry-tomatoes; a charming, long and tasty Rosé, less berried and angular than earlier renditions. This has some yummy love-handles.
(NV Weingut Willi Bründlmayer Brut Rosé) Light pink yellow color; nice tart strawberry, lime nose; deep tart green fruit, mineral, tart green melon, lime palate; medium finish
