  • Another bottle of this wine, much n line with my previous notes. This time I finished the bottle the next day and noticed some slight differences. Most notably more fresh black fruit like blackcurrant and some cassis.

  • Great to be back after a year to Duemani’s top CF. Organic and biodynamic farming, lightly similar winemaking to their exceptional Syrah Suisassi with 30 day maceration, 22 months of ageing in traditional FR barrels, 80% new, the rest used once. No fining nor filtration. Intense aroma of violets, plums, beetroots, tomato, cherries, blackberries, herbal hints. Full body, juicy, rich and elegant with great structure, flavours of black fruits, chocolate, violets, some undergrowth, finely structured medium+ tannins.

  • Ripe, dark, yet surprisingly leafy. Lots of green notes. Nutmeg-like oak, that smells expensive. The best part is the palate: it’s dense, concentrated yet somehow weightless at the same time. Super smooth. Soft acidity and firm, perfect tannins. Very refined, although there is a touch of heat on the finish. My complain is that it’s made in the international style, it’s not too exciting. Ready now, or can be aged for many years for sure.

  • Deep ruby color. Full aromas of fresh blueberry, some raspberry, green pepper and a hint of eucalyptus. Full bodied with smooth, mouth coating, tannins and a lively core of fresh fruit snd acidity. A very long finish that follows through seamlessly.
This wine is still very young and I expect it will develop for many more years to come. Although it is imminently accessible right now, it will pay of to give it more cellar time. And perhaps gain a notch up.
