From Coravin. Cream, marzipan, apple, peach and pear, honey, a little dried ginger and cinnamon spice, lots going on, all nice, on the nose. More apricot than peach on the nose, rich, off dry, plenty of texture on the mid palate. Long but lacks precision for me. It's a bit blousy and overblown...perhaps a little over-extracted. Crowd pleaser though. Okay.

Coravin fun with Riesling (Kennards, Waterloo): From Coravin. Medium plus intensity aromas. Orange and apricot, slight struck flint, sweet citrus and tropical fruit; pineapple almost. Off dry but juicy and fresh. The tropical fruit backed by very slight botrytis notes. Clean but soft. Very nice.

Natural cork. Very light color, clear with a tinge of yellow. Nose of yellow fruits, ripe. Great wintergreen note on the palate, where the wine is think, very sweet, almost achingly so, rich - but despite all that stays lively, just barely.

A reticent nose, but the palate is a semi-sweet riot of pear, pineapple and green apples. 8.5% ABV provides light, summer drinking. Not bad at all.

Quick taste...off dry, lime marmalade with apple and apricot compote. Beautifully balanced sweetness and acidity. Long. Lovely.
