This bottle was singing tonight. Tasted much younger than my last one. Red fruit, bright acid, good amount of extract, integrated oak. PAIRING: It went so well with Pizza Margherita (Brooklyn Pizza) [A]

Remains quite dark. Lush dark fruits, tasting like plenty of oak but well integrated with the fruit, and enough acid to be Barbera. Definitely not classic Barbera, more new world in style, but plenty of flavor and good with an Italian sausage sauteed with tomato and onion.

Great pizza wine. Specially liked it with white pizza. The cheeses made the fruit pop.

Still dark, still plenty of fruit, oak no longer prominent. A good enough wine, but not the vibrancy I look for in Barbera.
