A well-made chardonnay from Margaret River. The wine is aged in small oak vessels with varying degrees of new oak - primaraly used oak barrels. The final blend is always made with a mindset focused on keeping the fruityness and freshness intact. And fruit and freshness is what you get - white peach and unripe melon. The taste is fresh but with a nice smokey "kick" at the finish. Not bad.

Agree that this is Chablis-ish. Floral, tart green apple nose and palate. Definitely leans European in style.

This is a great Chardonnay with no over oaking and could be mistaken for a good Chablis. Highly recommended.
