Fresh. Playful and fruity, yet with some acidicity and tannins. Very well done and astounding value. There's a bit of sangiovese in this one, and that tomato tartness almost works. This could be even better if that "pizza wine grape" was removed from the mix.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and raisin. It tastes like blackberry, gooseberry and raisin. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Maybe more time will help balance out the "sweet" ripe purple fruit with the high tannins that are a little gritty/grippy. Would benefit from greater intensity of fruit aromas, as well as more concentration. QPR is presently a little low.

Agree with other reviewers that it's just not quite in balance yet. Clear dark red purple color; pretty nose of dark fruit, some earth, spice and a touch of sweet oak; a real mouthful, but heavy on acidity and tannins and a bit light on the dark fruit; long bone dry finish, again light on the fruit. It needs lots of time to open, and not surprisingly it's much better with food.

2021 drank in 2024. Very juicy and fruity. Red violet colour. Red berries on the nose. Strawberry, cherry, vanilla. Medium tannins which goes away when decanted. Nice leather and oak on the medium finish. Really good wine. Great value for money. Will be buying more of this.
